As an adult, Stephen would later learn that his first visit had been when he was just a baby, with a fractured skull. During the 1970s Stephen Smith was a drug addict who lived as a homeless person in Aberdeen, Dundee and other UK cities. At the age of fourteen I became addicted to amphetamine and for the next twenty years took up to 100 tablets a day. Three times a week, you'll hear his unfiltered opinions on the day’s biggest headlines as well as straight-shooting interviews with top celebrities, game-changers, and thought leaders across the societal arena. Smith's body was lying in the middle of the road in a position that looked as though he'd been placed there. He was sometimes caught for petty crimes as he tried to get money to feed his now out of control drugs habit, but he had managed to evade being sent to prison. It displays the drastic highs and lows that his life fell to, his rise to wealth and loss of everything he has due to his poor judgement. From an affluent family Stephen aged 14 ran away to become involved in organised crime and immense wealth.

You never knew whether he would be in a good mood, bad mood or knocking you about mood,” says Stephen.

It may look good to tunnel into a bank and steal a considerable amount of money but when you have worn the T-shirt as Stephen has, you know the penalty you pay. Now he plans to do it all again as he films a new documentary and aims to come back to Burton to ask people to share their stories of addiction and of living on the streets.
